Governor Fayemi fully delivered on this promise. He commissioned two blocks of a Faculty Building at the Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan Ekiti. The project was designed as a "purpose-built" facility to solve the accommodation challenges faced by both workers and students. Each block houses two faculties and includes: a Dean's Office, four Heads of Departments' (HODs) Offices, four Laboratories, twelve Classrooms, a Conference Room, a Faculty/Data Room, twenty-eight Lecturers' Offices, and conveniences. Governor Fayemi stated that the building was "fully equipped" beyond just the physical structure. He explained that constructing legacy projects like this faculty building had become his administration's trademark, responding to the weak institutional foundations inherited from past administrations. He noted that his government went beyond restoring infrastructure, aiming to change the face of the polytechnic because the people of Ekiti deserve the best. The project was part of a broader effort that included the Civic and Convention Centre and the Ado-Iyin dual-carriage road.
